We do this for conversion optimisation of our shop, within newsletters, in advertisements and for other marketing expressions. Classifying websites and newsletters differently can change the conversion rate. Based on an A/B test, we see which layout leads to higher conversion and which does not. 'Conversion' is the conversion of visits to a website to a particular conversion goal. This is expressed as a percentage of site visitors who proceed to the conversion target. The conversion goal is usually an order or payment, but can also be a newsletter subscription or user registration. The same applies to banners and other expressions, such as text in hyperlinks or layout of ads in search engines, for example. - For this purpose, we use third-party software including Google Analytics. We have set up Google Analytics to be privacy-friendly. For example, we have shielded the last two digits of your IP address, so that your privacy is protected as much as possible.
